(1911-2001). Studied at Reading College of Art before settling in Dumfries & Galloway after WW2. He became a guide lecturer for the Arts Council of Great Britain and travelled throughout Scotland, as well as lecturing at St Andrews University and Dundee Technical College. He was also involved with Gracefield Arts Centre from its early days.
