Rarely has the globe been touched in its entirety by one unprecedented cause. Beneath the skies of all continents, people of every age, nationality, culture, colour and creed are living through changes brought on by recent events. No matter who or where they are, humans are now united in adapting to life with new attitudes and behaviours – and chiefly amongst them, in the face of adversity, we seek to be kind.
In this online exhibition we explore humankind as seen through the eyes of generations of artists - from the traditions of the Scottish Colourists and Glasgow Boys to Modern British practitioners and contemporary masters – observing the similarities and differences between us all.
