1908-1993. Rothenstein, son of Sir William Rothenstein, was an English printmaker, painter and art teacher. Studied at Chelsea Polytechnic and later at the Central School of Arts & Crafts. He was part of the resident art community at Great Bardfield which became one of the most artistically creative spots in Britain. He was one of the most experimental printmakers in Britain in the 1950's and 60's.
