Alexander Mann

1853-1908. Studied at Glasgow School of Art and later in Paris at the Academie Julian. Exhibited widely throughout England and was the first Scottish member of the New English Art Club. Influenced by the Hague School and Bastien-Lepage, he was a fine landscape and genre painter.
