A graduate of Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design and the Royal Academy of Fine Art in Holland, Braham is a Scottish artist whose paintings and photographs recall the Northern Romantic tradition in which the landscape reflects aspects the human condition. Mainly a painter of landscapes, he has exhibited with Gerber Fine Art and Compass Gallery throughout his career. He has had numerous solo exhibitions and has participated in both national and international group shows. His works are held in many public and private collections and art foundations. He has been awarded the Royal Scottish Academy Guthrie Award for painting and the Royal Scottish Academy Morton Award for lens-based work. In 2021, Braham was elected to the Royal Scottish Academy. He is currently Programme Director for Art & Philosophy at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee.
